School Gardens
Since 2007, Full Circle Education has successfully worked with local schools building farm and garden components into the school yard, curriculum, and cafeteria. Classroom Outreach
Full Circle Education can bring the farm to your classroom in a variety of ways including egg incubation, container gardening, composting, cooking and nutrition, plant identification, and more. Please contact us if you would like to schedule a visit.
Farm Based Education
We offer expertly guided field trips for any class or youth group to the Full Circle Farm in Victor and other partner farms including Cosmic Apple Gardens, Snowdrift Farms, Paradise Springs and more. Each field trip can be customized to meet specific academic standards or educational goals. We recommend a pre and/or post classroom visit by one of our educators to prepare, enhance, and reinforce the learning that takes place on the farm.
Summer Programs
In the past, we have partnered with the Teton Science Community School in Victor, Idaho for a "Young Farmers" Summer Camp. 2020 will offer a brand new take on summer camp, offering students combined skills in both gardening and backcountry skills like map reading, plant identification and how to embody "expedition mentality."
We also offer Summer Garden Clubs at Alta and Tetonia Elementary schools to maintain their school gardens.
