Our Story:
Full Circle Education promotes healthy, happy and sustainable living for communities in the Tetons (both on the Idaho and Wyoming sides). Starting from the ground up, we provide children and adults with hands-on educational experiences on farms, gardens and wild places, taught by local masters and enthusiasts. Subjects vary season to season but are always focused around health, self-sufficiency and community building.
Full Circle Education (FCE) is currently facilitating school garden programs for three public schools in Teton Valley: Alta, Driggs and Tetonia Elementary. The first school program that FCE started was the farm and garden program at Teton Valley Community School (now the The Mountain Academy of Teton Science Schools) in Victor, Idaho. This program was so successful that daily farm and garden experiences are now fully integrated into the culture and curriculum of the school. This success has freed up FCE to help start programs at other local schools.
About once a month, FCE provides Sustainable Living workshops for adults, encouraging the "neighbors helping neighbors” values that already live in these mountain communities. FCE contracts local and diverse people to share their skills with community members. These workshops are held in varying locations, on varying subjects, to give people opportunities to network, create and learn with one another.
