Teton Middle School is home to a 30' by 17' polycarbonate greenhouse thanks to a Full Circle Education Initiative in partnership with TMS. Teton High School construction students, led by teacher Mark Hansen, did an amazing job framing the greenhouse from the ground up. The siding was completed in the summer of 2011 with the help of volunteers. Currently the greenhouse is used mainly by 8th grade life science students and their teacher, George Bates.

Past programs:
Teton After School has worked with Full Circle Education to offer garden and taste education to k-6 students in their after school program.

The seventh grade teaching team worked closely with Full Circle Education to utilize the greenhouse to its full educational potential teaching hands-on lessons in
crop breeding, seed saving, and soil health. Because greenhouses help us extend our short growing season in the Tetons by trapping radiation from the sun for heat, it is a great way for students to see first hand concepts of energy dynamics.

The Life Skills class from the High School has also used the greenhouse to learn how to grow their own food during the cold winter months and have generously shared their bounty of delicious greens in the Middle School cafeteria.
